Marcie has returned to real estate after staying home for several years with her two boys. A 5th generation Oregonian, Marcie was raised in Lake Oswego, graduated from Lakeridge High School and received her B.S. double majoring in Marketing and Management from the Lundquist School of Business at the University of Oregon. She attended school at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark on a business school exchange program her senior year of college. Upon graduation, Marcie worked in Seattle and Portland for Bank of America in computer programming and Private Banking for a few years before deciding to work in the airline business for a “2-3 years while she was young and had the flexibility to travel.”

Working for Delta Air Lines Marcie found herself loving the airline industry as it enabled her to see many parts of the world and live in many U.S. cities. 2-3 years turned into 15 years and she lived in Boston, Chicago, New York and Atlanta before returning home to Lake Oswego again. Delta Air Lines provided Marcie with many skills that directly transferred to real estate as she worked up through management and Human Resources after being a flight attendant. When Delta closed their Asian Gateway base in PDX in 2003 Marcie decided not to move again but instead become a Realtor in the Portland area.

With her parents and grandparents being raised in Portland, Marcie knows the whole Portland Metro area very well. She prides herself with providing the highest level of customer service to her sellers and buyers and loves to help people navigate through a real estate transaction.

In her spare time, Marcie has a side business – she is a personal stylist and sells a line of custom and made-to-measure menswear called J.Hilburn. She and her family now live on the north side of Lake Oswego and her two boys, ages 13 and almost 11 are attending Forest Hills Elementary and Lake Oswego Jr. High (soon to be at Lake Oswego High School). They enjoy traveling (a given!), skiing, golf and water sports. The boys are in a different sport a season so Marcie is very involved in their active schedule and in the community.
